ANY BIKE RIDE SHOULD START with a gentle warm up. The purpose of the warm up is multi-faceted and is crucial to reducing the risk of injury and optimising your riding.
Most cyclists, maybe unknowingly, already do this warm-up during the first 10-20 minutes of each ride by slowly easing themselves into the ride.
