FAR, FAR AWAY
While Raymond Richards was on tour in Myanmar, he visited the Mahagandayon Monastery. He wrote: “It houses several thousand buddhist monks and trainees. At midday, they all form an orderly queue for their single meal for the day. The faraway look in this monk’s face caught my attention as he was either dreaming of food or meditating.”
