But a lead-up to a story of a family and their Arabians.

This story is that of an early breeder in the Northwest, his family, and the Arabians who shared their lives, how they contributed to the idea of Arabians as part of the family, how they promoted the Arabian as a useful horse, and how their Arabian stallion Ga’Zi (Abu Farwa x Ghazna by Chepe Noyon), a 1949 chestnut stallion, bred by the Leland Mekeel family, enriched their lives.
