Happened to the Warren Buckley family in 1959, when Buckley entries were judged U.S. National Champion Mare (Lallegra) and U.S. National Champion Stallion (Synbad). Championships were not new to the Buckleys. Their Arabians were winning big before the first Nationals in 1958. Buckley winners were well known and their bloodlines were sought by other breeders.
