What is the saying about best laid plans? I guess when one has horses one should be flexible enough to make last minute changes to plans as inevitably something will happen. It seems the more you want to do something, the more likely your horse will be in complete disagreement with those plans.
My riding partners, Wendy and Dianne, rode with me all winter. We had a conditioning plan, and despite the cold, we were out there riding.
