You will need:

• a ring (we used a 24cm plastic wood-look ring intended for bag handles, but embroidery hoops, metal rings, wire and bamboo rings will also work well)

• macramé rope (we used 3mm off-white)

• wool or embroidery thread in various colours

• wool needle (optional)

• various trims (such as ric-rac, pompoms, cord, bias bind, ribbon and leather straps

• felt

• pre-made pompoms (or make your own)

• coloured card

• origami paper

• washi tape

• wooden beads

• scissors

• PVA glue It’s become synonymous
