Susie Bell and her husband Ralph have owned a string of Georgian homes, so when it came to decorating their latest, Susie was comfortable finding colours and themes to unite the wonderful collection of antiques they have amassed over the years. “This is probably the twelfth period property we have owned. It is not the biggest and not the smallest but it has very pleasing proportions and a certain cosiness,” she explains. “When it is cold and there are just the two of us here, we can close off parts of the house
