‘INVISIBLE’ CARERS
hank you for recognising carers in (September 2019). I’m 45 with children aged 10, nine and six. The eldest is severely disabled and I sometimes feel like an ‘invisible’ carer. My daughter’s life is limited, so Stephanie Nimmo’s article in the same issue also resonated. I wouldn’t change having my daughter for the world but caring can be tough. To all carers, I say, ‘Keep going, you’re amazing!’
