How does the UK contribute to space affairs?

The European Space Agency (ESA) has 22 member states, 20 of which are in the EU and two of which are not – Norway and Switzerland. The UK's membership does not, therefore, depend on it remaining in the EU and, indeed, there are also two non-full members, Canada and Slovenia.
