Hey Doc, I have a Digital Storm PC running Windows 10 Home 64-bit, with Intel Z270 chipset and Intel Core i7-7700, 16GB RAM, 240GB SSD, and 2TB HDD. Here’s my issue: Windows 10 Update 1903 is not compatible with the Intel Rapid Storage Tech. It advises me to update the driver. However, when I go to the Intel site, it has a disclaimer that I should check with the manufacturer to see if the onboard driver is a “custom” one, and follow their instructions.

I contacted Digital Storm tech support and it spent two days trying to figure out what to do. No luck. I was directed to use the Microsoft Update Assistant, which got 91 percent through the download before stopping with error code 0x1900209.

I notified tech support and again they couldn’t advise me on what to do. I am hesitant about applying the current Intel Rapid Storage driver due to the disclaimer about
