How to create a biodiverse garden

For a country that prides itself on its green spaces, rural landscapes and love of plants, it may come as a shock to learn that the UK is one of the most deforested countries in Europe. Less than 13% of our landmass is covered with woodland or trees, in contrast to mainland Europe where coverage stands at 38%.
