Justin Mayne and Beatrice Cracosky were first brought together by the Sussex house they live in — albeit by the flat that’s one floor down. “Years ago, I bought the flat downstairs when it was derelict, did it up, and sold it to someone I never met, because it was all handled through the estate agent,” says Justin. “A year later, I stopped by to get my post, and Bea answered the door. She offered me a lump of parmesan and asked if I wanted to look around, and I thought, ‘she’s a keeper’.”
