Arranging on the fly

Structuring tracks can be tricky. Often, you’ll create a track sketch that has potential, but struggle to extend the idea beyond a basic loop – perhaps the transitions between sections aren’t as smooth as they could be, or maybe the order of the sections just doesn’t flow.

Furthermore, you may want to rejig the structure of completed tunes by ‘remixing’ them on the fly, either to create a fresh remix or to prepare the song for live performance.

Thankfully, many modern DAWs offer
