    CALLING wine lovers with a sense of adventure, or a love of solitude.

    The Greystone PurePod is set high above the award-winning Greystone vineyard, less than an hour north of Christchurch, in the heart of the Waipara Valley wine region. With the Teviotdale Hills behind and views up the Waipara Valley across to the Southern Alps, the Greystone PurePod provides a beautiful setting for a private break.

    PurePod is a glass-walled eco-cabin where inner-city indulgence meets isolation. Greystone is the fourth PurePod location, building on the success of a concept developed by Christchurch’s PurePods Ltd in Little River, and two in the hills of inland Kaikoura.

    Guests stop by the cellar door for a tasting or to pick up supplies and PurePod sits on a spur in a paddock, high above the winery, with remarkable views. Guests can also book a guided wine tour which is available from 12:30pm-2pm weekdays.
