MICHAEL COOPER RECENT RELEASES
The standard of New Zealand wine is getting better, almost every year – the vines are sinking their roots deeper and deeper into the country’s varied soils, while advances in winemaker maturity are exerting a critical influence too. This latest tasting includes outstanding examples of sauvignon blanc, chardonnay and pinot noir, but also – and less predictably – very classy bottlings of grüner veltliner and cabernet sauvignon-based reds.
Prices shown are approximate New Zealand retail. Wines available in export markets are shown as (A) Australia, (UK) and (US).
