California Dreamin’

The Mullin Automotive Museum and Murphy Auto Museum may be the two most physically close car museums in America. Heck, when you check for directions from one to the other on Google Maps, it gives you walking directions. Yet, in atmosphere and feel the two museums — located in Oxnard, California, an oceanfront community 60 miles northwest of Los Angeles — are light-years apart.

The Mullin showcases French design in a sleek bi-level 65-car display (culled from a larger collection) of primarily Art Deco automobiles that all deserve to sit on the pedestals that a few of them occupy.
