Bob Marshall Sports Saddle

“May you always ride a good horse and a comfortable, well-balanced and good-fitting saddle.” These words by the late Robert “Bob” Marshall speak to the mission of the company he built, Bob Marshall Sports Saddle. Rooted in his experience as a horse trainer and saddle maker, it was the result of his quest for saddles that keep the rider comfortable, secure and in balance while fitting the horse securely and comfortably. Marshall realized that goal and became world-renowned for the saddles he designed, including his famous, original treeless saddles.

Marshall’s custom saddles have been used by top competitors in barrel racing, trail riding, cutting and reining.

He also developed the patented Sports Saddle® to fit more horses, keeping the front part of the tree independent of the rear of the cantle section. This unique design allows the saddle to adjust to different shoulder widths and heights. When cinched, the tree angle will automatically conform to the individual horse’s body.
