Early on a Friday morning, a small group of protesters gathered around a fountain in front of BlizzCon 2019’s main security checkpoint. A few convention employees stood facing the black-clad group, passively watching the protestors unpack boxes of t-shirts while holding signs that said “Questions?” on long poles, as if they were Swiss Guards.
