Swedish eyewear designer Anna-Karin Karlsson launched her self-named label in 2011, bringing a refreshing more-is-more attitude to sunglasses. Now stocked in 50 countries, her designs – which she sees as ‘visions’ and then draws by hand – include When Trouble Come To Town, a cat-ear frame named after Grace Jones (a customer); The Bee, which has a subtle honeycomb visor; Bang Bang Baby and Beaming Star. And this year she adds jewellery to her repertoire.
