WELSH Highland Railway articulated NG/G16 Garratt No. 87 is set to return to traffic – in its former black South African Railways (SAR) livery.
The locomotive has just emerged from its first 10-year overhaul, having covered 107,479 miles in Snowdonia, and will re-enter traffic at the end of March.
