Facing the future

While much has been said and written about the impact of drought and bushfires on our rural communities, scant attention has been paid to the impact it is having on the younger generation, the farmers of the future.

An attempt was made to address that situation recently when a group of 88 young people aged from 15 to 25 and representing 57 affected communities was selected to represent the face of the future at the three-day UNICEF NSW Youth Drought
