Hegerberg leads OL to another title

Having long decided she would not be joining Norway at the World Cup, Ada Hegerberg knew the Champions League had to be her stage this year, and she stole the show with a leading role. The Ballon d’Or winner, who has not played for her country for two years in protest at the national federation’s treatment of female players, scored a 17-minute hat-trick in Budapest as Lyon brushed aside Barcelona to secure a sixth title, and their fourth in succession.
