93 Geyerhof 2017 Ried Gaisberg Grüner Veltliner (Kremstal). Buttery roundness on the nose is reminiscent of baked crumble, in this case of pear and plum crumble. The palate is mellow with rich fruit and roundness, but a lovely, pithy edge keeps the generosity in check. The finish is dry, satisfying and wonderfully long. Blue Danube Wine Co. —A.K.

93 Geyerhof 2017 Ried Steinleithn Grüner Veltliner (Kremstal). A buttery note of ripe Mirabelle plum on the nose suggests richness. The palate comes in with the suggested generosity of yellow plum but is laced with wonderful, pithy and aromatic freshness.
