Safe and secure?

Boatyards and marinas are the obvious havens for boats off season. And, naturally enough, ‘off season’ varies with geographical location. In aesthetic terms the photograph that heads this page is hardly the most pleasing and gives very few clues as to its geographical location. which I can now disclose is not Poole in Dorset, Shindig’s home port.
