The Dannemora genre

It’s been four years since David Sweat and Richard Matt pushed up a manhole cover on a quiet street in Dannemora as they escaped from the maximum security Clinton Correctional Facility. But with the pace of traditional publishing almost as slow as cutting through a metal wall with a hacksaw, new books about the escape are just coming out.
