SOFTWARE

Daz, Marvelous Designer, Blender, OctaneRender, Photoshop

This cinematic piece allowed freelance concept artist Jad Saber to indulge his passion for framing and lighting, which he uses to enhance the mood, set narrative and tell the story. Discussing the details of his artistic process, he tells 3D World: “I posed the characters with Daz 3D and used Marvelous Designer to make the clothes. It usually helps to get the folds right, then put the texture that you want on the mesh.”

Saber maintains that this method is often more efficient and accurate than using photos.
