Betty Joy
Dig into your collection of reproduction 1930s fabrics to create this delightful quilt made in honour of Jenny’s sister who passed away recently.
Each 15in block features seven hexagon flowers made with ¾in hexies. Nine patches intersect the sashings and borders finish off the quilt.
Each of the sewing techniques is simple, and while you will be making the hexies by hand, you can easily switch over to the machine for the nine patches, sashings and borders.
Reproduction 1930s fabrics are popular with many quilters – and are bound to be found in quite a few stashes!
