Last year, 37.2 million didn't get enough to eat because they couldn't afford to buy food. This is not a developing nation we're talking about here. This happened in America.
This troubling statistic is from President Donald Trump's own Department of Agriculture. Yet his administration is moving to make it harder for poor people to have access to food stamps.
This could mean only one thing. Trump and his Republican allies don't care that Americans are going hungry.
