Widely Respected Japanese Humanitarian Among 6 Killed In Afghanistan Attack

Tetsu Nakamura, a native of Fukuoka, spent years working to improve living conditions in rural areas of Afghanistan. He was gunned down Wednesday along with five associates.

A prominent Japanese doctor who devoted his life to providing aid in Afghanistan was killed by unknown gunmen on Wednesday along with five Afghan colleagues. It's the second attack on aid workers in the country in recent weeks.
