10 TIPS FOR LAMS RIDERS

1 WEAR THE GEAR

Consider low-cut motorcycle boots, Kevlar jeans, a bike jacket, helmet and gloves to be the minimum amount of protective gear. If you need to buy some this time of year, even cheap summer gear with armour is a lot better than street clothes.

2 DO AN ADVANCED COURSE

You learnt a lot doing your LAMS training, didn’t you? Not just bike control (you might have had that if you’d ridden dirt bikes as a kid) but traffic awareness and roadcraft.
