ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Notre Dame wanted to establish its running game early Saturday against Michigan.
It didn't.
The offense never got in gear. Instead, the No. 19 Wolverines ran away with a 45-14 victory in front of 111,909 at Michigan Stadium.
"We had talked about getting off to a fast start for about two weeks," coach Brian Kelly said.
