Ramnath wants to explore how she connects with new ragams differently

For six years, one Friday, every month, Bombay Jayashri Ramnath, Chennai-based, Mumbai born and bred classical musician, has been taking an overnight train to travel to a village called Manjakkudi in Tamilnadu's Kumbakkonam district. In the wee hours of the morning, the train chugs into the bustling Kumbakkonam station; a chauffer-driven car is waiting for Jayashri and her student at the entrance and half an hour later, they are both sipping coffee at the All India Movement (AIM) for Seva's sparkling clean guest house that is reflective of simple and clean living.
