    I love Donny, but I don’t think it loves me. Having had a mediocre run around in the Pirelli Super Series, my opening stint in the six-hour endurance went even less to plan. The race had kicked off with a massive downpour, but after Frodo and Lodgy had banged in two solid stints on an ever drying surface, the time had now come to slot the dries in and maintain our momentum up the pointy end of the podium. Only, that’s where things went massively awry. Despite the track looking drier than the desert, it turns out there was a small wet patch on the exit of the Old Hairpin and it caught me out a corker.
