TWO FOR THE PRICE OF ONE

PERSONALLY, the all-new pair of Royal Enfield 650 twins has been the most anticipated release of the year, and not because it’s the first Enfield twin to be made in half a century. My reasons were closer to home. I fell hook, line and sinker for the Enfield Continental GT 535 single when I tested it a few years ago (Downhill Racer, Retrobike #25), lamenting only that 29hp wasn’t quite enough for everything I want a bike to do. A 47hp Enfield Continental GT 650 vertical twin sounded perfect!
