    ‘Business boom’ will follow Strathspey arrival at Grantown

    PLANS to extend the Strathspey Railway into its long-term goal of Grantown-on-Spey have been unveiled to the public by the line’s officials.

    It is claimed the £10 million cost of the two-mile extension will be small in comparison with the economic benefits the Aviemore-based heritage line will bring to Grantown and its businesses.
