Your Say…

… But First a Little Ditty

Went on vacation last month, rented a Chevrolet Equinox. As we all do, I noticed all the similar utes. Made me think of one of my favorite Showtime series. Substitute the obvious:

Little boxes on the hillside

Little boxes made of ticky-tacky

Little boxes on the hillside

Little boxes all the same

There’s a green one and a pink one

And a blue one and a yellow one

And they’re all made out of ticky-tacky

And they all look just the same.

Walk the Talk

When I was a kid, I wanted a Mk 3 Toyota Supra Turbo badly. I asked MotorTrend for any info on the car because by then it was out of production. Someone took the time to find the issue and make copies of an article about the car for me, and I’ve been a MotorTrend person ever since.

Which brings at buying these cars. We asked for an American V-8 sport sedan with rear-wheel drive and a stick. GM gave us the Pontiac G8 and Chevrolet SS. We didn’t buy them. They were too expensive, they didn’t make enough of the stick … yada yada yada.
