The buzz about photography

Film was a unique commodity when you opened a reel to put it in a camera. It was somehow exciting – the unique smell, the possibilities it held. The limited number of shots – 12, 24, 36 – made it exciting as you only had so many attempts to capture that unique image. I recall an article in AP many years ago that said to take lots of shots to be sure to capture the image you wanted. Better a few extra pounds spent on film than missing a once-in-a-lifetime photo.

Now though there is no limit to the number of shots you can take
