TODAY it’s the location of Stratford International station and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the latter covering 560 acres and a testimony to the power of money and sport, the vision of the British people of many cultures, and how a quest for a legacy – one of the buzzwords of our 21st century life – can be fulfilled.
