THE GRAHAME FOWLER INTERVIEW
No matter what age someone buys their first scooter, it's not usually their last. For many of us that can lead to a life of dedication and possibly somewhat take over. Not that that is a bad thing, but there becomes a point where it becomes almost impossible to stop. The more someone gets involved, the quicker it can engulf them. Soon it can become a nightmare of unfinished projects or machines that need urgent maintenance to simply keep them on the road. Grahame Fowler has dedicated his life to scooters and one brand in particular, the Lambretta.
Growing pains
Grahame was born in Plymouth in 1956, although the family soon moved north, settling in Halifax, West Yorkshire. Shortly afterwards there was another move, this time to East Africa, as his father was in the Army. After the posting finished the family was relocated back to West Yorkshire just in time for the 11+ exam at a local primary school.
