Danielle Mondo – Mondo Design

DANIELLE MONDO FIRST began making jewellery around five years ago after becoming disenchanted with the latest lines in fashion accessories available on the market. She started off by teaching herself how to make dangly earrings, as that was what she found to be popular at the time. They became a huge hit amongst her friends who started placing orders almost immediately, which gave her the inspiration to start up her own label. Mondo Design was born, and around three years ago, Danielle started supplying stores around Melbourne with her jewellery.

Danielle describes her style as a combination of contemporary and vintage styled pieces, which allow her to showcase her attention to detail. She uses brass and pewter stampings, semi-precious stones, Czech glass beads and Swarovski crystal in combination with modern cameos, diamantes, chains and
