Trump steps up pressure on Fed to cut rates, but economists say it's a bad idea

WASHINGTON - President Donald Trump is heaping nonstop pressure on the Federal Reserve to lower interest rates and provide further support to speed up growth, even though the economy is expanding at a healthy pace and economists widely agree that this is not the time to be taking such actions.
