IT is now 20 years since the last train ran on the Weymouth Harbour Tramway but, despite being just 1.25-miles long, it still holds a special place in the memory of many rail enthusiasts, as it took main line passenger trains through the streets of the Dorset town – the last such place where this was possible in Britain.
