WAYNE’S WORLD!

This bike has actually been in CMM before… the previous owner, Kev Betts, got to meet Eddie Lawson at the Stafford Show when he came second in a competition!

Eddie even signed the front mudguard for him. I’ve still got that, although it’s a little faded now.

My partner at the time – Nicola Holt – bought me the bike (Kawasaki ZRX1100 C4, 2000 model year) from Kevin in 2011. As beautiful as it was, I wanted something different – but something that kept the later 1970s/early 1980s vibe! It was around then that I figured a Moriwaki Kawasaki – almost as a tribute to Wayne Gardner – would be a good way forward.

Now, I’ve actually called this my ZRX1109 Evo and the reason for that
