Fun with Colour

Monica Burrows was born at Bundaberg in Queensland. She commenced weekly art lessons at Bundaberg’s Woodrow Gallery at the tender age of eight. She continued to study art with Berris Woodrow throughout primary school.

After leaving high school, she became an apprentice in the trade of designing and manufacturing jewellery – creating one-off pieces in gold and silver, and setting diamonds. She gained her qualification and continued with this work for a few more years, until the time came when she realised that she really wanted a career in interior design.
