My favourite things

Assuming you have, or have had, more than one motorbike, do you have an all-time favourite, or does your favourite depend on current circumstances? I ask the question because it’s just occurred to me that my 1961 Norton ES2 – a motorcycle I’d happily describe as the best all-rounder I’ve ever owned – has seen very little use in the last year.

The Norton itself hasn’t changed, so it must be me – or rather my motorcycling – which has altered.
