EXPANDING EX-PAT!

Well, perhaps we should rephrase that as ‘Ex-pat is expanding his premises’! We’ve mentioned ex-Berkshire paint and body man Mick Jenkins’ stellar paintwork achievements over there in California before, mainly for painting some of the top award-winning cars in recent years on both the US hot rod show circuit and at classic events such as Pebble Beach.

Named simply Mick’s Paint, and based in the former compound of So-Cal Speed Shop in Pomona, Mick has recently been able to expand his work area by nearly 1500 square feet to accommodate a new dedicated fabrication area separate from the existing paint and bodywork area. Recent success collaborating with top-notch shops such as Troy Ladd’s Hollywood Hot Rods and Steve Strope’s Pure Vision have ratcheted up
