There is no inhabited region of the Earth immune to forest fires. Being generally difficult to be controlled, they cause extremely large damages, much beyond natural resources, since they consume properties and structures, forcing the massive exodus of residents and putting their belongings at risk.
Surprisingly, the dramatic views of aircrafts and helicopters, of the most varied origins and dimensions, flying or hovering at low altitude and involved in dense smoke, launching water, retardant or even foam on the flames, does not have the expected definite effect
