SUZUKI GT 185

EXHAUSTS

Hard to find and never cheap when you find them. Watch for corrosion fretting where the downpipe meets the silencer.

PANELS

Simply put, it all needs to be there and at least repairable.

STARTER/GENERATOR

All four brushes need to be clean, within service length and free to move. Replace spring if in any doubt. If starter doesn’t work, check brushes and relay.

IGNITION

Points fearsomely expensive: £45 per set from Suzuki. OEM Daichi or pattern F.E.W. brands work just as well, but much cheaper.
