TRAIL ANGEL AT GGC

We truly had a trail angel at the Golden Gate Challenge 2018: a complete stranger called Gary Henwood- Fox.

My friend, Bernette Cotter, and I were rookie GGC runners, and on the first day enjoyed the banter around us whilst heading upwards for 6km. We met some amazing people, including Gary. This same gentleman stopped to help someone else who was ill along the trails and ran with us for the last 7km, helping us with some serious mountain stairs and the chain ladder.
