A few weeks ago, I foolishly expressed an interest in a vintage Morgan three-wheeler that attends our old clunker runs. It really is a thing of 1920s beauty and just about the only ‘car’ that gets a free pass on vintage events – everyone loves a Morgan – until you go in the thing. Sporting a huge V-twin Matchless engine, tuned by Morgan/Brough specialists Cameron Engineering to deliver about 65bhp, it ranks right up there alongside the most terrifying experiences of my life.
